AI is taking over Us?

Image
Image from: https://pin.it/fkmqvrbbm I have spoken to a couple of friends in the industry, past colleagues and I got to know, that in their organisations, the use of AI and such tools is none to negligible. In their own lives, some explore AI once in a while to see how powerful it can be to shape their thoughts, improve their writing, give them information about something when asked in Natural Language. In my organisation, and the people I work with, I have been fortunate to get introduced to AI for good from the very early days of GPTs birth. It's like we spoke about it when no one did and we started using it, and adopted it in our day to day without any qualms of what next. I think it was top down driven. It was a vision that it's out there to help us solve better for our clients, and for ourselves, instead of it's out there to get us. So what does AI give and what can human offer differently. Many versions of answers to this. Yet this is my attempt. AI gives content. Hu...

Artificial Intelligence is Really Intelligent or its just Us?

Artificial Intelligence is Really Intelligent or its just Us? It doesn’t think—it calculates. It doesn’t feel—it predicts. Yes we are talking about AI. Thinking like a philosopher I reflect on a core debate today, is AI truly intelligent or is the human intelligent who has created it. At the end of the day, AI literally mimics the human mind, however it a machine.  I think AI feels intelligent to us, as it gives us instant answers to any question we ask, better than what we have thought through, yet at the end of the day it has studied vast amount of data and works on pattern recognition. While we talk so much about AI, it's worth to pause and ask how many breakthroughs has human achieved in years as a process of evolution. AI being one of it. Maybe what we’re calling “artificial intelligence” is more aptly described as amplified pattern recognition, not consciousness, not intuition, not motivation, not emotion, not wisdom. At least not yet. That means how much ever we are floored ...

Its a Hat Trick

Image
Yesterday, I had the immense honor of receiving the GEN AI Jam Team award for the third time. It was a truly surreal moment, made even more special by the fact that I was wearing the same dress I wore for the previous two wins at ITAD in 2017 and ES in 2021. It was a hat trick, not just in terms of the award, but also in the attire! This experience has reinforced my belief in the power of convictions and the incredible things we can achieve when we work together as a team. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an innovative and inspiring community.
